UTG Private Aviation completed 1st stage reconstruction of existing FBO at Domodedovo airport
UTG Private Aviation, fix-based operator (FBO) at Domodedovo airport, has completed basic reconstruction of terminals ground floor and ready to proceed to the next stages. It will include ground floor space enhancement, second floor renovation and surrounding area improvement. Terminal guests are greeted by cozy, modern and luminous interior. Merged style and concept can be traced along the entire perimeter of the terminal. An unobtrusive nod to traveling by air comes through the form of windows that look like illuminators and floating ceiling that looks like clouds. Spotlights are installed around the perimeter of the lounge zone, diffusing soft light. Sliding glass doors lead to the pre-flight and customs areas. Checkpoints to transport and aviation security zone are equipped with introscopes and all the necessary equipment. Briefing room is at crew’s service. Cafe renovated waiting area offers a large range of premium alcoholic and soft drinks as well as snacks, bar counter design repeats an airplane wing. First floor area will be increased by glass panoramic verandas. Surrounding area improvements ahead: landscape engineering restructuring and small architectural forms placement will be lighted up by neon lights. Helicopter landing area will appear close to the terminal, which will shorten destination route. “We strive to create the most cozy and comfortable conditions for our guests to stay in the UTG PA FBO at Domodedovo airport. And one of the ways is a radical renovation of the interior, which has already been completed on the ground floor. At the same time, further reconstruction work will not interfere with the operational activities of the business aviation center,” highlights Elena Zhdanova, UTG PA Executive Director.
